Magento 1.5 Paypal Express Review Shipping Page - No Quotation Marks

Question

I have a problem with the fact that Magento (v1.5) does not calculate sending by country of the registered Paypal user based on the delivery rules also defined in one check page. When using Paypal Express, after entering Paypal, the user is redirected back to our website to confirm the order, the delivery option is not selected (or selected), and therefore the customer cannot place the order.

All I get is: "Delivery Method Unfortunately, there are currently no quotes for this order.

When the user clicks "Place Order", nothing happens, no doubt, because he tacitly complains that there is no delivery method. (Of course, there is an available delivery method and will be automatically selected when passing a regular check).

Other forum posts also indicate that custom threads are causing the problem. I removed all Paypal content from my custom theme to ensure that Magento uses basic / standard template files and layout.

Any ideas anybody?

The following code from Oscar Reales worked for us, and I can’t remember where I downloaded it from! Another solution is to use the Paypal standard.

I found three problems, but got this job at the end (generosity spent :)). I'm not sure where everyone came from, but they suspect that this is due to the Magento update and various template changes in this module. The first problem was the following line:

 <?php if (!($_shippingRateGroups = $this->getShippingRates())): ?> 

What to read:

 <?php if (!($_shippingRateGroups = $this->getShippingRateGroups())): ?> 

The second problem was the function $this->getUrl , repeated in several places. I completely removed this by hard-coding the urls.

Finally, the $this->getCurrentShippingRate did not return the current speed. I changed the getCurrentShippingRate function in app/code/core/Mage/Paypal/Block/Express/Review.php to the following:
