Keychain Access for Mac OS X: Error "Could not find default keychain"

I am trying to sign an iPhone application for publishing, so I follow the instructions for this. Anyway, when I create my certificate signing request, I get this error from Keychain Access: "No default keychain found"

I did not find any help on Google on this issue - can anyone help?

Thanks!

It looks like you are missing the login.keychain name. Either this, or you somehow disabled it by default. Look at your list of keychains in Keychain Access (View-> Show Keychains). Do you have a login? And is it bold? If any of these answers were no, then this is your problem. If you do not have a keychain for logging in, continue and create it (File-> New Keychain). If you don’t have a selected bold font, right-click your “login” in the key chain and the “Make Keychain” menu item should appear for the “Default” entry.

Unable to create certificate:

Open Keychain and goto Keychain Access -> 'KeyChain First Aid'. Apply the check on the REPAIR button and enter the administrator password in the password field and press the "START" button. The system will restore the keyring and then create a certificate.

These steps worked for me.

You need to go to Lib> Keychains and delete the contents in the folder.

Remove links. Reboot and you must be a happy tourist :)
