Where to find / download rsvg lib for python on OSX

I want to use the python rsvg library to convert SVG graphics to other formats (mostly PDF) and cannot find the python-librsvg source to download and install on Mac OSX anywhere. Any help?

I finally found it. He is buried in a Macports package called gnome-python-desktop :

 $ sudo port install gnome-python-desktop

All that I can find suggests that it is not available anywhere else. Both this and this page say that it is wrapped in GNOME Desktop and is not standalone. The same goes for Linux (in Ubuntu, the package name is python-gnome2-desktop ). There is a package on GitHub that looks a bit lighter, but it is only for Windows.

I also found something else alarming: this module has not been updated since 2005 . Therefore, if possible, it would be better to stay away from him.: - /
