There is a solution for the node-link or treemap tree . But this requires a different tool, since drawing it in Excel would only be very difficult, if not impossible.
I suggest using the Funfun Excel add-in, which allows you to use JavaScript directly in Excel. With the ability to use JavaScript, you can use powerful libraries like D3.js or HighChart.js to make the drawing tree diagram much easier.
Here are two examples of tree generation in Excel.

1). Insert the Funfun Add-in from the Office Add-In Repository

2). Create a new Funfun or download a sample from the Funfun online editor.
