Free with Debug in Flex / Air?

I have one of these nasty "debugging jobs, but not a release." Is there a way to create a version of the application and also debug it? Some platforms allow this ... but I have not found a way to do this with my Flex / Air application.

Short answer: No, not easy.

Long answer: Definitely possible, but you need to work in the magazines yourself. You should look at SpiceFactory Logger ; it is very good. You could periodically send these logs to the server if you want. In addition, you can always use something like FlexSpy in your application to find out what is happening.

It all depends on how much โ€œdebuggingโ€ you want in the release version, bearing in mind that something added reduces performance.

You can do some โ€œdebuggingโ€ without changing the SWF using the SWFWire debugger .
