How can I add and remove files from an ISO image?

Are there (preferably free) components or libraries that process ISO files?

In particular, I would like to be able to add files and save to ISO, as well as extract files from ISO.

I do not need advanced functions or bells and whistles, just do something, as I said above.

I tried to find something, but came up with nothing.

Perhaps this can be done without such a library? If so, what approach would you recommend?

Have you tried the TIsoLib component and the FreeBurner library which is the plug of the first and seems more complete?

Otherwise, I know about the Binary Magic component , which is not free, but handles the creation of an ISO file ... and is written to a CD.

Addition:

You can take a look at the mkisofs command line tool. This is part of the cdrtools project and is the root component of creating .iso in the Linux world. You can call this tool from the command line, add and remove files from the .iso file. I saw several commercial programs that use it to create bootable CDs on the fly, from Windows. Remember the GPL: you need to make a clear distinction between your software and the GPL software .

I don’t know if this will help someone ... (I hope this will save them some time), but I know that using WinRAR at the moment does NOT seem to give the desired result for at least one meeting. I used it to extract the installation media, as a result of which the file was not found, while using the extracted files. I would like others to try to extract the extracts, and let the problem recur, so that the reason for this can be found, fixed, and thus WinRAR will become the best tool in doing what you requested. Note. If someone thinks this is not suitable, I'm sorry, I'm just trying to help, please close my answer in this case.
