Remove self-signed certificate from iOS (device and simulator)

  • Use iOS Safari (on your device or simulator) to connect to a site that displays a self-signed certificate.
  • iOS Safari asks you to accept a certificate before connecting
  • Accept certificate
  • Future requests are never requested again.

How to delete the certificate accepted at step # 3 from my device or simulator?

It is missing from Settings โ†’ General โ†’ Profiles and executes Settings โ†’ Safari โ†’ Clear Cookies and Data and Settings โ†’ Safari โ†’ Clear History also had no effect.

I answered this question in the comment above. To make it clear:

For the simulator, remove the self-signed certificate from your key chain. For the device, just clear the cookies and data: go to Settings-> Safari

Yes. For the simulator, go to the iOS Simulator menu on "Reset Content and Settings ..."

For the device, go to window-> Organizer. Connect the device. Go to the Profile Profiles section for the device ... NOT in the library. Highlight the profiles you want to delete and press the delete key.

What is it!
