What is (Xcode: Wildcard AppID) in my iOS mobile portal?

Suddenly, I saw now a new application identifier in my (iOS Provisioning Portal) with a description (Xcode: Wildcard AppID), has it been recently added by Apple or me? But I never added it!

And there is no link (setting) for this application, only a link (details) where I can’t configure anything!

Xcode now automatically creates a provisioning profile, so you don’t need to. This wildcard application identifier is part of this provisioning profile.

I understand that this means that you can create one preparation profile for a device that can be used to test several applications (instead of creating a new preparation profile for each device and each application).
