What is the "identity string" of my certificate (mac + codesign utility)?

I'm going to say it right away: I have no idea what I'm doing here. I am not a Mac developer.

Here is the scenario: I have an installer (.pkg) that my boss wants me to sign. I have a certificate issued by Thawte; which I imported into the keychain program (and found that everyone trusted her). In the package creator, on the configuration tab, there is the inscription "Certificate" and immediately next to it is another one that reads "not supported". Good perfect.

So codeign; says he cannot sign .pkgs, but he can sign .dmgs ... but I have to give him an identifier string so that he can pull my certificate out of the key fob. But I don’t see a place called “identifier” or “identifier”, or something like that, when painting the keychain program.

I feel very stupid about it; I have been on this for several hours, google has given many useful things, but none of them explains where I find the string "identifier": P

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The identifier is the "Common Name" from your certificate. See OS X Code Signing or Apple Code Signing In Dept
