Convert PSD to XML format (layout) for Android?

I am coding an Android app for a research project in my school and working with a designer who made some attractive UI layouts in Photoshop (using CS5). I would like to realize her projects as layouts for my Android application, and it would be WORLD easier if I could convert files to XML format. I believe that it is rather inconsistent that PS offers android templates, but there is no real way to apply them in the process of designing and building Android without waiting for (imitating) an imitation of its work in XML code, which I cannot do on any side. Is such a conversion possible? Is something missing?

thanks

I do not know such a tool.

But you can approximate it by slicing your layouts and using them in your graphical interface, for example, you convert a website template from an image into HTML.

While its layouts are not too complex, you should be able to do with stream layouts or relative layouts.

Right-click - Properties - The background (in the Eclipse layout design) may be what you are looking for, but remember that the bitmap will not look the same on many devices with different screen resolutions.
