How does Mercurial handle alternative data streams (in the NTFS file system)? If he can't handle it, is there DCVS?
EDIT: When I change the upgrade version, what happens with ADS? Is it lost (erased)? Is this also a version? Is all this ignored?
Mercurial does not save an alternate data stream. In addition, they may be overwritten during the upgrade.
I donβt think any of the open source VCS I know handles such things (even permissions are usually not processed).
