How to Debug URLs for Overriding Configurations in IIS

Is there an easier way to debug IIS Url Rewrite configurations than this:

I managed to solve my problem with this information, but it was not very easy when you had a complicated configuration.

While some might say “as good as it gets,” I would say that it’s a pretty neat way to debug rewriting rules. You have full visibility in the pipeline and you can see exactly what happens at each stage. I have used this many times to solve problems with rewriting rules. Getting familiar with the FRT tool just takes practice.

Change it to rewrite to redirect inside the urlrewrite tool for debugging purposes.,. Works pretty much the same in the limited exposure that I give it.
