How to simulate a red glitter button in an iphone / ipad contact?

Question

I want to have a green OK button and a red Cancel button in my application. Red will look like this:

I wonder if this can be done programmatically instead of taking a screenshot → Photoshop lessons → being configured as a custom button in IB

Check out UIKit-Artwork-Extractor on github. It allows you to reproduce colors and save ready-to-use buttons.

I like the Jeff LaMarche Gradient Buttons library for this kind of thing.
