Is there a starting point for implementing Facebook BigPipe?

They said they build it on PHP and Javascript, which is great, but is there any code that will make it available to the public? Is it the same as theirs or a similar project?

Edge Side Includes is something in the same lines, instead of composition in the browser, it happens on a proxy server.
