Android Power Profiler

I need to take power measurements for Android apps. I tried the "powertutor" and it gives power consumption for each application. However, I do not know how accurate his readings are. Does anyone know how accurate it is?

In addition, I used DDMS to profile my Android application. I get processes as memory information about this. Is there a way I can find out the energy consumption of a process in Android? (some rough estimate?) or is it impossible?

I really need to do "power" profiling for Android applications, but I don't know how to do it.

In my scientific research, to measure the power consumption on Android, we use a power supply connected to the terminals of the phone’s battery, which displays the voltage and current to the PC. Measure without application to get the baseline, and then compare with measurements with the application. This is not very accurate, but it is the best way we know.
