Form an organization form

Microsoft CRM 2011 question. Given the following parameters:

  • Entity schema name (i.e. opportunity, new_object)
  • User's manual
  • URL of the underlying CRM organization (i.e. http://myhost.com/ORGNAME/ )

How can I create a URL to indicate the main (or "default") form of this entry?

I can tell the pattern in the URLs of the form, but some of the querystring options are pretty obscure, and I don't know how to reuse them for any other type of entity. In addition, version 4.0 had specific URLs (/ sfa / etc.) for system objects. This does not seem to be the case.

According to MSDN, the format will look like this:

http://myhost.com/ORGNAME/main.aspx?etn={ENTITYNAME}&pagetype=entityrecord&id={ENTITYGUID}

Replace {ENTITYNAME} and {ENTITYGUID} your values.
