HTML5 & # 8594; where to begin?! (compatibility with old)

I know about a large, wide new range of features, but I have almost no hint about HTML5.

I would suggest visiting a site like net.tutsplus.com and doing an html5 search. I also introduced to html5 shiv and other methods for ensuring compatibility with multiple browsers.
