HTML5 & # 8594; where to begin?! (compatibility with old)

I know about a large, wide new range of features, but I have almost no hint about HTML5.

As one of (among many) ways to exponentially send IE6 back to the Big-Bang era, is the massive adoption of new technologies and methods ... Well, let go of HTML5. How to accept it in the meaning of compatibility, without spending 70% + of the time that we usually spent looking at the Microsoft product.

Let's say we decided to start our new project in HTML5, what are the best practices, problems, links, information ... everything is connected with old compatib browsers ..

Is it necessary to create html5 documents separately or can they be used as old people.

Any good link or suggestion or explanation?

It looks like you are looking for a huge amount of information here ...

I would suggest visiting a site like net.tutsplus.com and doing an html5 search. I also introduced to html5 shiv and other methods for ensuring compatibility with multiple browsers.

I started with html5boilerplate - this is a great way to get started

If you can afford the book, I would recommend hardy wired webdesign by Andy Clarke

The rules for using features added in HTML 5 are the same as the ones we have been following for the past decade. Use progressive improvement as usual.
