IE9 showing IE7 user agent

I am testing applications from VS2010 with IE9, everything is working fine, and suddenly IE9 browsers strangely decided that it wants to be IE7. When I request navigator.userAgent, it comes with the IE7 user agent. What's up with that ?!

Now IE9 continues to think about this IE7. I have never used IE7 before?

Sometimes IE thinks that the page will render better using the old browser model or standard and will often switch to it. Press f12 and change browser mode and document mode to IE9
