Eclipse PDT 3.6 Helios, keyboard shortcuts for switching comments no longer work

Since updating Eclipse PDT from 3.5 to 3.6, my comment comment labels / comment blocks ( CTRL + / ) in the editor no longer work. I see them on the menu

Source > Toggle Commtent (Ctrl + /)

as well as in the context menu accessible through

 Shift + Ctrl + L

But they just don't work anymore.

Does anyone have the same problems? And is there a solution to this problem?

This solution no longer works with the latest version of Helios

steps to play:

here's a bug report on eclipse.org https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=360526

I use eclipse kepler (CDT) in opensuse 12.3, and I also can’t create // at the beginning of the current line with Ctrl + /. However, Ctrl + Shift + 7 works because on my keyboard the '/' key must be entered as Shift + 7.

The solution for me was the simpler shorthand Ctrl + 7 installed by Windows | Preferences | General | Keys | Comment / Uncomment ... The downside is that Ctrl + 7 is a new abbreviation.

To comment on a text block, I first marked it and then used the shortcut Strg + Shift + 7, also installed by Windows | Preferences | General | Keys | Add block comment ...

Hope this helps you !?
