Does Windows Phone 7 WebBrowser control the same origin policy?

Question

I have some HTML files that I put in isolated storage and then upload them to the WebBrowser control for Windows Phone 7. I want to make an AJAX request in JavaScript to the remote host to get some data. It seems that this is an error with the error "No transport". I assume that there is the same origin policy that prevents my request from passing.

Does anyone know if this is the case, and if so, can the policy be disabled?
