Work on my little secret site; I would like to give users the opportunity to select certain categories, for example: cars, boats and receive daily / weekly notifications based on their choice.
A user who subscribes to the "cars" category will receive a daily newsletter that says: "There are 30 interesting new ads for you in the category: cars".
I don’t know where to start; The simplenews module seems too simple for my use.
