Change Linux Uart driver

Question

I want to change the UART driver of my kernel (2.6.32). I am using the standard uart driver for ttyS2. I do not know the exact files. The problem is simple: setting and maintaining the gpio peak during transmission and when receiving it should be low.

Which files should I access? And any ideas about gpio s bitbing from the uart driver are welcome ...
