Adobe AIR on mobile platforms

I want to create a small application for Android and iphone, and since I am familiar with ActionScript and don't own a Mac, AIR is starting to seem like a good option.

Are we saying that code is once deployed to both here or am I still encountering some double coding?

What are the pros and cons of this development, especially with regard to the user interface?

What do I need for development, and is it free / has a free alternative and the same for both target platforms? Emulators, debuggers (MonsterDebugger?), Packer for iPhone, IDE (FlashDevelop ok?) ... Can I use Builder Builder to build for Android and than the package for iPhone without changes?

Also, do I still need a mac to distribute through the AppStore?

I also thought about it yesterday. If you want to see my post Independent Mobile Application Platform . I am looking for some tools that can help me with this. I got one Open Plug (Ellipse) until it has time to try it.

Apple limits its terms and conditions. Will update you when I receive something. Good luck

I can not answer all your questions, unfortunately.

However, I can tell you that if you plan to deploy your own iPhone application from Flash (which, as far as I know, is the only product that has this functionality), you will need a Mac.

Apple AppStore, ($ 99, ) .

Android Market Marketplace (25 , , ), Android SDK .

, AIR, , -? , , .

Phonegap.com. , : .

AIR is code that is once deployed to both. Recently, iPhone performance has grown. The big problem is that, unfortunately, there are many phones that are not supported by AIR because of their processor type. (I discovered this a few days ago when the desire to install the simple "Hello World" application on my own phone did not work).

Yes, you need a Mac to sign your iPhone app and distribute it through the AppStore.
