Open recordset without cursors

Question

In general, I connect to db with the following statement:

rs.open "query", db, 1,3

now i tried (without cursors)

rs.open "query", db

new improves productivity.

therefore, I would like to ask you if I set cursors in communication, what cursors are by default?

CursorType = adOpenForwardOnly
LockType = adLockReadOnly

You had adOpenKeyset and adLockOptimistic.
