How can I encode an effective mobile site like gmail?

Question

My website has another mobile version suitable for iPhone / Android devices. The problem, however, seems to be site performance. It is very slow and heavy, although I do not upload any images.

On the other hand, when I use Gmail or the mobile version of YouTube, they are so fast that they almost fulfill the role of their own mobile application.

How do they do it?

Your webapp consumes too much RAM. Do not use so many libraries and do not add as many event handlers.
