What collections are valid for javax.persistence.ManyToMany

Question

Research, I found that communication javax.persistence.ManyToManycan be implemented using a different collection. I wonder if all collections java.utilare permissible or if there are restrictions.

Please note that I really use Scala, and I like to use one of the immutable collections. But I think this is out of the question.

In the Hibernate documentation, he only says:

Collection, List, Map , -- -- , @OneToMany @ManyToMany . , @ElementCollection. .
