My organization plans to buy two servers with two Oracle 11g R2 SE1 licenses. It is necessary to configure bidirectional replication between server databases (both databases are completely identical in the database structure and are almost identical in the data, except for the table with data specific to the server (application parameter values, such as server identifier, etc.).
I am thinking of extended replication (multimaster), is this a coincidence with the 11g R2 SE1 license? Is there any other Oracle solution suitable for my conditions and 11g R2 SE1 license? Or, in another case, what third-party Oracle replication mechanism can you recommend?
