Using JSF 2 User Area

Question

I look through all the areas of JSF2.0 application. I am a little confused when to use user area. Any specific use cases would be helpful.

Initially, I thought I could use it for a multi-page area, such as registering three pages, etc. But it looks like we can't use it.
