I am writing a program in qt that will be installed on a USB flash drive. I need it to work on several operating systems as soon as it is connected. I thought I could do this by putting all the different os compilations in separate folders and getting autorun for each os in the first part of the disk. Will this work? It is assumed that it will be similar to sandisks u3 in that it appears as soon as it is connected and escapes from the disk.
This will certainly work - basically, each autorun configuration file is specific to the OS, and you can specify exactly which executable file to run on the plug-in.
