The ffmpeg examples I've seen so far all seem to take a file to disk storage as input, so that they can be transcoded to another file on disk as output. I also came through ffserver, which can be used for streaming video. However, to find a good tutorial or ffmpeg example used to transcode video / audio streaming, they are constrained by parameters such as runtime or not. frames or other events, and save transcoded media to disk.
Any pointers, hints or tips will really help.
