We have our own method of checking the license, which is very simple, we just check the registry key (a string specified by another process based on different parameters) and provide a license or reject it.
I found out that anyone can just crack it as soon as they find out which regkey we are looking for. Or by looking for the cmp command in the assembly code. I just wanted to know the best solution to this problem with license verification. I may not need a very complicated procedure or any such. But if it will be a little better than the present.
I am using C ++ \ VC ++ with windows 7.
