JodaTime: how to get user friendly name DateTimeZone

Question

For the method org.joda.time.getName(long instant)required long, I don’t understand what this “instant” is , and the documentation does not address the issue.

I have DateTimeZoneone that I generated from the timezone id, and all I want now is a readable name. Why should I convey meaning to him?

instant - This is the time in milliseconds since 1970-01-01T00: 00: 00Z to get the name.
