How does the sqlalchemy nosetests plugin work?

There is a plugin for sqlalchemy in the python module testing module called nosetest, however there is no documentation for it that I can find. I would like to know how this works, and if possible, see the sample code.

I understand that this plugin is intended only for unit testing SQLAlchemy, and not as a regular tool. Perhaps that's why there are no examples or documentation? Posting to the SQLAlchemy mailing list is likely to give you the best “straight from the mouth of the horse” answer.
