Point similarity determination accuracy

Question

I am looking for some quick indicators to measure the similarity between two sets of points, such as the distance between centroids, the number of overlaps, etc.

Ideally, I would like to take a few more indicators to improve the accuracy of the main dimensions of similarity, but the key feature is that, ideally, they should be fast and scalable.
