GWT 2, Spring 3 a good working example / demonstration of client-server interaction

I usually did not ask a question, just asking where to find a good demonstration of something like this, but over the past few days I spent a lot of time waking up a number of demos that I can find to integrate GWT 2 and Spring 3, but so far Each of them had a problem when I couldn’t get it to work locally so that I could learn from it.

I just would like a demo application that communicates on the client side of the GWT on the server side of Spring using RPC, preferably with Maven. I already have some experience with GWT and my own small applications that use RPC calls on the server but are not integrated with Spring. Similarly, I have experience with Spring, but getting them to work together is a pain.

I saw several lessons about Roo, but each of them still hasn’t worked for me as soon as I build it with Roo. Any advice is appreciated.
