Why does Visual Studio 2010 crash a few seconds after opening?

I disabled and uninstalled all extensions and add-ons.

Everything worked fine until I upgraded to NuGet 1.1 .. then it started ...

So, I thought it was Nuget ... I uninstalled Nuget (under administrator privileges) ... restarted the PC and VS and waited a few seconds and then it will work!

I don’t know how to investigate or debug this situation without deleting the entire Visual Studio and starting over.

Does anyone know what to do?

Run the following command line from the VS command line tools:

devenv.exe /?

This will show another command that may help, especially:

devenv.exe / safemode

Does it work in safe mode?

devenv.exe / log

,

devenv.exe/resetsettings

devenv.exe/resetaddin

devenv.exe/resetskippkgs

[edit] devenv.exe/log ....
