How to prevent git commit tool from closing after commit?

The git GUI commit tool closes after clicking commit - is there a way to keep it open? Sometimes I want to commit several times, and the need to re-open the commit tool adds an extra unnecessary step. (I use msysgit on Windows XP, if that matters.)

Make sure that you do git gui, not git citool. git citoolcloses after one fix. git guicontinues to work and allows you to perform multiple transactions.
