Windows Phone 7 Application for Windows Mobile 6.5

I am new to Silverlight and Windows Mobile, and so the question may seem very naive.

Can a Windows Phone 7 application built using Silverlight run on Windows Mobile 6.5?

Any ideas? Appreciate any help and thanks in advance

As pointed out by lukas , there is no Sivlerlight for Windows Mobile . At the same time, an application specially designed for WP7 cannot work on WM due to a lack of necessary resources and components.
