Trying to find an HLSL compiler

Googling for the “HLSL compiler” and a few things, I’m frustratingly unable to find where to look for the standalone HLSL compiler for D3D9 so that I can determine which lines are causing the problems.

I don’t see anything in my SDK, but maybe it has a name that I don’t recognize?

The HLSL compiler is called fxc.exeand is located in the DirectX SDK utility.

The path in my system is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft DirectX SDK (February 2010)\Utilities\bin\x64\fxc.exe

For the HLSL effects that you can use in XNA / DX (PS 2.0-3.0), you can try:

3DPee player (Tridipy) and shader editor

. , vertext shader . -, , .
