I have a user who uses the latest version of OSX and Safari. When he tries to upload a file through a form, it freezes (spinner rotation), but nothing happens. I did some re-research and found this:

These are fixed issues in previous versions of Safari, but obviously not Safari 5.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to solve this? It has been mentioned that this is due to persistent http connections (thus the fix above) and I am using PHP (but I don't think this is important).
