Preset iPhone Core Data

Question

What is the best way to initialize a Core Data database with content. My iPhone application will have a static database with products (data and images). How / where to store images, how to pre-populate the database?

Here is what I did:

• Create a database inside the iPhone application.
• I created a model in Xcode and make a request to the database (this creates the database).
• My static data is a CSV file
• Use Ruby script to read CSV file
• Use ruby ​​gem sqlite3 to insert data into database
• Copy back to project
