Is there a jQuery / JS plugin to create a map similar to google maps?

Of course, the map will not be a city, so I can not use the Google Maps plugin. What I need, more or less, is:

• Use your own image as a map.
• The map will have hot spots that should respond to freezes and clicks.
• To drag the map with the mouse, as in Google Maps.

Does anyone know about such a plugin?

Yes, it is called OpenLayers, and you can run it from OpenStreetView in less than 10 minutes.
