Installing Android ADT plugin v9.0.0 on Eclipse Classic 3.6.1 failed

I carefully followed the instructions on developer.android.com:

  • I downloaded Eclipse Classic 3.6.1
  • I opened Help-> Install New Software and added the ADT plugin site

But the installation still does not match all the dependencies. I tried to add additional repositories, but that did not help. Are there any tips for installing the V9.0.0 ADT plugin on Eclipse 3.6.1 Classic?

I also tried this Correct installation of the Android SDK, ADT with Eclipse 3.6.1 - did not help.
