The role of Oracle DBA and its specific functions (and possible replacement)

I need to install an application server that requires the user to write to the database, maybe create new schemes, etc. However, I always used "work" to assign a DBA role to this user.

I have some questions, since I am not so deep in Oracle security.

  • Does the DBA role have privilege levels that can affect an entire Oracle installation?
  • Where can I find what privileges the DBA role has?
  • How to create an alternative role?

Thank,

1) Yes, the dba role must have sufficient privileges to drown the database, except for fixing it.

2)

select *
  from role_sys_privs
 where grantee = 'DBA';

3) , , .
