Learning geokit-rails3

I am looking for complete explanations on how to use geokit-rails3. I found loads for rails2, but not for rails3. Do any of you have a simple and complete tutorial on how to display a Google map on Rails3, from A to Z? Many thanks for your help!

Geokit (and geokit-rails3) can be thought of as geocoding utility libraries useful for finding and storing the locations of model instances and for performing location searches, but they do not include matching support.

There are several options for matching Google Maps on rails 3 , but there is no clear winner . At the moment, most of them just use the Google 3 javascript APIs directly. I found the Google Maps API Documentation very intuitive and easy to use.
