Is there an open social one-sided facade?

I recently discovered that jainrain uses a product that helps streamline the process of connecting the drupal application to a one-time registration of the entire main social network.

I appreciate this because it reduces to 1 API all the different APIs that you may encounter on different networks.

Is there an open source version of such a 1 size API?

I have been using the OpenID Selector module recently with good results. It does not offer all the features that Janrain makes, but it's a good start.
