A resource for learning good user interface techniques, more intuitive and artistic and user friendly

No matter how well I use coding, I am most often satisfied with the screens that I develop for my application in flex in the first place, which obviously leads to a repetition and time outage. Only after changing it 2-3 times does the team agree to "user convenience". Can someone point me to a good place / book / site where I could see / learn user interface development methods. Not technically, but artistically or conveniently.

One example that I need now is the management user interface, in order to be able to select multiple xml nodes at the level of the third level (which, therefore, involves the choice of nodes at two levels).

I used two combined blocks, one after another, in which the contents of one combo depended on the other (and used such combo boxes in the grid to enable multiple selection at the same time). But it looks good for the team here. Say it is not "convenient."

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank.
