Failure representing a modal view controller

Question

I have this accident. It is similar to other threads, but not the same. I would like to first show a modal view controller that the user navigates to a specific view controller. Following the prompts, I do this on - (void) viewDidAppear: (BOOL) animated and apply a delay as I recommended it.
