Distributing my Mac application to friends

Hello, I made an application in Xcode for mac (in cocoa). I want to distribute it to my friends via ichat or mail. But when I copy and send it, it does not start. I also changed the resolution to 777, but still it does not start. I think there are some problems with resolution. I went into my application, say x.app, and changed the x resolution in the Mac_OS folder. Any help Regards, Abi

If you have not already done so, I recommend that you archive your application directory in a TAR or ZIP archive, or pack it into a disk image formatted in HFS + before transferring it.
