How to use FindWindow () from a service application?

Question

I need to associate an application application with a vcl application. My old application was the console, and the console did without problems with the vcl application. Now I am moving the console application to the srv application. The old post used FindWindow and SendMessage.

I know that I can communicate with them through a socket or named pipe, BUT, I do not want to change the structure now because it will delay the migration.

Does anyone know how I can “fix” it?
